The Campo Grande Railway Station was a construction intended for boarding or disembarking train passengers and, secondarily, for loading and unloading transported cargo. It usually consisted of a passenger building, in addition to other facilities associated with the operation of the railway.
Excellent point of reference and stop for a pedal.
Open, pleasant, structured place with benches and trash cans.
This viewpoint is part of the Via Morena (extension of the first phase that makes up the corridor of the old railway line between Avenida Costa Silva (near the Federal University to Fernando Correa da Costa, called Fábio Zahran) is 4.5 kilometers long and is composed of flowerbeds and wide runways, exclusive lanes for buses and taxis (due to access to the International Airport), after the revitalization, Duque de Caxias now has a bike path and walking track, in addition to an aircraft viewing point. This is the lookout point and was specially designed for an old family tradition at the weekend: those who are in the habit of spending weekend afternoons watching the landing and takeoff of planes and "taking Tereré".
